A Personal Message from Maté Aroshvili, Owner, Pinnacle Stone
When I came to the United States from the country of Georgia eight years ago, I brought with me a strong appreciation for craftsmanship, discipline, and doing things the right way.
I come from a large family — one of eight siblings — and I was raised in an environment where care, patience, and respect for one’s work were expected, not optional. My father was a priest, and today I serve as a reader at the Greek Orthodox monastery in Brookline, Massachusetts. Those experiences continue to shape how I approach both life and business.
I was first introduced to the stone restoration trade by a trusted family friend who recognized my natural ability and enjoyment in working with my hands.
My training came from seasoned professionals who taught me not just how to restore stone surfaces, but why each step matters. I received further training through the Learning Institute at Surface Care PROS, where the emphasis is on proper methods, material knowledge, and long-term results — not shortcuts.
From the very beginning, the combination of technical precision and hands-on craftsmanship felt like a natural fit.
